So we have been potty training for the last 3 days. After reading terrible reviews of training pants online I decided against buying any, only to regret my decision almost instantly and to rush out and buy some the next day. I hate that about online reviews sometimes.
We are making slow progress, but progress nonetheless. We even made it as far as a shop to look at a new bed for Theo without any accidents. We are hoping (fingers, toes, everything crossed) that the house will be finished in six weeks which means he can finally move out of his cot and into a bed. A very overdue move.
PS - If you are clicking through from Living Arrows or Bloglovin, you may notice the thumbnail was colour, but this image is B&W. I changed my mind after publishing!
lol.
ReplyDeleteSuch a funny photo.
Love how how clear and light it is.
What a lovely photo - everyone loves some bubbles!
ReplyDeleteLove the bubble beard! Pull-ups were brilliant for us combined with frequently asking L if he needed the loo. I also (probably very lazily and slummily) put a potty in his bedroom which he used overnight and gradually moved it closer to the bathroom until he was finally just going to the loo in the night. Worked a treat. (I should note that my carpets escaped unscathed!!)
ReplyDeleteIt will all be right in the end. You don't see many 5 year olds with nappies, do you? Potty training trends have changed so much over the years. In the 1970s we tried from about 18 months and my daughters were both dry by the age of 2, night and day. Nowadays it seems more child-led and later but quicker too. We all end up at the same place!
ReplyDeleteYour son looks a really happy child. Enjoy!
Very wise words "we all end up in the same place" thank you Catherine! :-)
DeleteGreat call on the B&W - stunning! Feeling inspired! #LivingArrows
