So this week has mostly been spent on a secret Christmas project, which is coming together really well, but of course makes very dull content for this blog post! Here's a tiny sneaky peek at it. I think they are actually my two favourite colours ever, look they even match the badge!
At the same time I have been making bunting for Apple Day. I know those colours are a bit "WOW" but the intention (not sure if I have pulled it off yet) was to select apple-like colours for the fabrics. The proof will lie in the end result!
And aside from that it has been induction week on my Graphic Design course. It's a distance learning degree which will take 4 years to complete (it terrifies me even writing that) and frankly even surviving the first week feels like a very small but monumental step along the way. Our first module is "visual awareness" and I immediately thought "Oooh that will be useful for quilts!"
And one final thing I'm doing a giveaway for some bunting, very easy to enter and you can see the post here.
Nice idea to do bunting for Apple Day. I must try bunting...And how exciting to be beginning the Graphic Design course - I'm sure it will be rewarding as well as a challenge. But it is good to come out of our comfort zones sometimes. Who knows where it might lead?
