Every Monday I take part in the Living Arrows project at iheartsnapping.com. I love seeing the different ways that the contributors capture images of their children and it inspires me to keep experimenting and improving my own photos.
This week's image was taken with Theo standing on a step bending down and me lying on the grass. I wanted to see if I could reverse the traditional perspective of adult looking down at a child. The result makes him look younger than he is like a crawling baby rather than a strapping nearly three year-old!
Later this week I will be joining up with some of the team at iheartsnapping for a six week long collective photo project capturing colour in the environment around us. Since the beginning of my blogging journey I have found new ideas and inspiration through the blogsphere, not just in photography but my other love of modern quilting. I'm thrilled to be taking part in this project and look forward to seeing the ideas and images of the other contributors.
Come back on Thursday to see the first of our series of posts.
