Doll Quilt Swap - sent and received!

I've just taken part in the latest round of the Doll Quilt Swap on Flickr. My partner Deanna, was extremely easy to make for as she seemed to have very definite ideas of colour and design. Even the wonky windmill block tutorial I found for the blocks I did was in similar colours to the ones she liked.

This is the quilt I made for Deanna..

And here it is with the other goodies I sent for her and her daughter...

In a strange twist, despite the fact there were loads of people taking part, my partner Deanna was making for Emily and Emily was making for... me! Emily made me a gorgeous quilt in a pattern I love, but have only ever made once and then given away. I'm so glad I get to keep this one. It's going to look great on the wall of my new sewing room.

The only problem now is that I'm a little short of quilting projects... So what next? Over to Pinterest to gather some ideas I think...

  2. They look amazing! It must have been so much fun picking out the colours and designs for each other.
