August has been an amazing month with really glorious weather and so many highlights it's been hard to pick my favourites. If you missed any of my favourites, you can click on the links beneath the mosaic to read the relevant blog posts.
With August behind us I'm more than ready for September to start. I love this time of year, even two decades after I was last at school, there's always a feeling of emerging from the summer break feeling refreshed and ready for new beginnings. Theo has nursery school to look forward to and I have <gulp!> the start of my distance-learning degree. What do you have planned?
I'm glad August has been such a good month for you. September is definitely a good time for new beginnings. Hope Theo gets on well at nursery school, and good luck with your long distance degree. It sounds like it's going to be a busy time for you!
ReplyDeleteSame as you! Relish the last few days of Dan being at home full time with me before he starts nursery school and then back to work part-time - gulp! x
ReplyDeleteAww lovely photos!
ReplyDeleteHi Clare - how lovely to be visited by a local blogger. Your blog is a super read. BTW I live even closer to you - in Prinsted. :o)
ReplyDeleteSue x
Gosh you really are close! Prinsted is a lovely place for a dog walk. By the way do you know you are set up as a no-reply blogger, so I can't reply to you directly?
DeleteHi Clare, thanks to your recent comment on my Flickr Account I have found your blog again, after a long absence. Enjoyed catching up.
ReplyDeleteI just LOVE that hex pillow. I wish I had the patience for quilting....
ReplyDeleteHello! Thanks for popping by my blog, so lovely to find yours and a local blogger too! I have wondered if there was a way of finding near-by bloggers.
ReplyDeleteI love your mosaic, that cake is amazing! Caroline x
Hello Clare, firstly thank you SO much for finding and commenting on my blog, it's so lovely to find local bloggers and I'll use the comments I see here to find even more local bloggers! Your comment pushed me to write a new blog post today (hurrah!) so thank you thank you! I had no idea I hadn't blogged in so long, how sad..
ReplyDeleteAlso, you may or may not be surprised to know that I KNOW you. I work at the Eternal Maker so see you every now and again when we're both in at the same time!
I'm sure I'll see you soon
