We have some tired eyes in this week's portrait. A dry cough has been plaguing his (and our) sleep for the last few nights and he was running out of steam by the time I got the camera out yesterday.
His bike "hat" is on his head most of the time these days as he's just started to get the hang of his balance bike and is relishing the speed at which he can navigate the footpaths and tracks round our house. It's one of the first things he asks for in the morning and we have quite a battle persuading him to take it off at the end of the day.
So beautiful- such a dramatic shot, black and white photography is my absolute favourite!

ReplyDeleteBless him! Lucas had a nasty cough that was waking us all in the middle of the night. A couple of weeks on inhalers and he's right as rain now.
ReplyDeleteLucas LOVED his balance bike, best thing we ever bought him. He would whip around everywhere at the speed of lightening. It was funny to see him jump off it and drop it on the floor like a teenager! We had a lightweight isla bike so was great for us to carry when his legs got too tired. Last summer we got him on the next size up with peddles and he mastered it within 20 minutes!!!! We now need to get him one with gears as his little legs are not able to keep up with the speed. It's such a great thing we can do together.
